Country Artist: Mark Bray

Updated: Apr 1, 2020

If Garth Brooks joined The Eagles you’d have Mark Bray’s record – “American All Star”. A high-energy mix of good times and emotional introspective, Mark brings back the “Gee Golly, I’m glad to be here! Let’s party!” attitude with a cowboy hat and a dash of patriotic irony.

Mark hails from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida but is now living in Forest Hill Md. He was born in Denver Colorado, spent 5 years in Germany, and traveled all over the country. He attended California State University and Broward College in Florida before coming to Baltimore to finish his degree at The Broadcasting Institute of Maryland.

In 2010 Mark auditioned to sing demos for David and Goliath Music and the results were so good that David Simmons decided to produce a whole CD of songs predominately co-written with Ray “Goliath” McCrory. The resulting 2012 release “American All Star” was nominated by the ICMA for Indie Country Record Of The Year and “Then I Wake Up“, one of 2 songs co-written by David and Mark, was nominated for Indie Country Song of the Year as well!
